Ways To Help Others And To Invest In Our Community

As a Social Service Agency, The Salvation Army reaches out to anyone, regardless of faith, race, orientation, and tries to provide for their physical, emotional, educational and social needs.

Change happens when you invest in our programs and services. There are a number of ways that you, your company or association, your family and friends can establish a partnership with The Salvation Army -- a partnership that will result in a better community, improved outcomes for our families and children, and, generally, a financial and social win-win situation for you and for those we will serve together.

Please take a few moments to review the partnering opportunities. And then, contact us so that we can talk further about all the possibilities for us to build a  happier, safer community.

Remember, your gift to The Salvation Army is always tax-deductible … but that’s only one of the many benefits. Take a moment to sit with us and we’ll share wonderful client experiences as well as ways that your gift may help with your retirement years.

You have the right to determine how your gift is used. Whether making a cash, a check, credit card or material donation, or including The Salvation Army in your will, making a gift of securities, estates, retirement assets, or trusts, you may select the program or service that will benefit from your generosity. (For more rights, please read the Donor Bill of Rights)

Identified  by author and management expert Peter Drucker as “by far the most effective organization  in the United States,”  The Salvation Army invests the charitable gifts it receives in the lives of men and women and boys and girls. “No one even comes close to it in respect to clarity of mission, ability to innovate, measurable  results, dedication and putting money to maximum use,” Drucker said. (Forbes, August 11, 1997).

According to the Army's most recent annual report, more than $.83 of each dollar spent by The Salvation Army is used to fund direct services for people.

Your continued support makes its good work possible.

The Salvation Army has been recognized by the Internal Revenue Service as a tax-exempt organization under section 501 (c) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. This means your qualifying donations and gifts to The Salvation Army are tax deductible.
