When making a gift to The Salvation Army, Albany Area Services, it is not enough to make a bequest that simply reads "To The Salvation Army of Albany, since there is no such organization legally recognized by this name. To send a gift or to include The Salvation Army in your will or estate, please use the following bequest language: “For the use and benefit of The Salvation Army located at 20 South Ferry Street, Albany, NY 12202.”
