Holiday Assistance

During Thanksgiving and Christmas, The Salvation Army provides food baskets, toys and gift certificates for hundreds of needy families. It becomes a community project with businesses, caring individuals and hundreds of bell ringers all lending a hand to ensure that the poor of our community can celebrate the holidays with a traditional meal rather than a peanut butter sandwich. Children smile and their parents breathe a quiet sigh of relief.
